The weather for the centenary event was surprisingly wet, which can be seen from
the spectators holding umbrellas and the shiny tyres! Quite a few competitors spun
off into the ditches, not used to wet weather driving! It was a lot of fun though
and accompanied by German co-driver Gerd Steinhorster, Martin Shelley won the pre-war
classification - final picture shows them with our trophies!
